Villa Lobos House
Residential Projects
The imposing architecture of Casa Villa Lobos is strongly marked by the organic forms of the facade, double height, a large headboard on the slab and glass cloth at the entrance. It was designed by the architect Aquiles Nícolas Kílaris for a couple and their two children, on a 12x30 meter plot, in the interior of São Paulo. Built on two floors, the ground floor is completely integrated. Living, dining, home theater and kitchen share the same space without any door or wall. Whoever is in the kitchen can see both the interiors of the house and the outside area. The demarcation of this space is made by a wide counter for meals. The first floor can be accessed by an "S" -shaped staircase or by elevation. Upon reaching this floor, a hall is responsible for the distribution of the four rooms of the house. The son's suite was designed with a football theme, as the boy is a fanatic fan of Corinthians. The bathroom sink area in this suite is shared with the guest bedroom. The girl's suite was decorated with inspiration in an environment of princesses. White and pink are the colors of this space, with a tufted headboard and starry sky lighting. The bedspread was worked with pattern composition, using fleur-de-lis, which refers to the realization. The closet is customized for dolls, space for placing tiaras and a makeup counter. In the bathroom, the princesses sticker adds grace to the space. The master suite was designed in a clean way, with white tones, fend and details in mother of pearl. In the couple's bath, niches and mirrors add elegance and depth to the space. Both in the sink and around the bath, niches with mini orchids were placed. The leisure area consists of a gourmet space, an organic pool, a relaxation area, a sauna with a shower and a multipurpose room: used as a gym and toy library. The gourmet area has a barbecue, bar, stove, a sinuous counter for meals and beer cooler. A sticker with images of the seabed was used in the laundry.
