Vanessa House
Residential Projects
Located in a closed condominium in the city of Mogi das Cruzes, Casa Vanessa's architecture - with 563 m² of built area - was conceived as a sculptured concrete work of art and signed by the architect Aquiles Nícolas Kílaris. Its imposing façade with double height was designed with sinuous shapes and an immense glass cloth. These two architectural elements extend from the side to the rear facade, allowing excellent lighting and natural ventilation and integration with the preserved forest area where the house is located. Demarcating the entrance to the property, a structural column breaks the roof and on the right side - above the garage - a cantilevered slab was designed. In the roof structure, we highlight the eaves drawn in "S" with the tip suspended. In interior design, finishes and clean decor, basic contemporary furniture and differentiated complementary pieces. Rustic materials - such as jute, wood and stone - contrast with futuristic elements such as tiles, stainless steel pendants and sculptures, LED and neon lighting, creating very refined environments. Upon entering the living room, it is possible to contemplate the entire social area of the house, including the preserved forest that sits on the plot of the land. The rooms are completely integrated and a fireplace was built to heat both the living room and the dining room. Upstairs are located four suites: master, son, daughter and guests, as well as a glassed-in studio overlooking the garden. All rooms have access to the terrace overlooking the forest and the pool with a waterfall. The leisure area is complete and was designed to interact with all the nature that surrounds the property, surrounded by lots of green area. In addition to a beautiful organic pool, spa and waterfall, the leisure scene is composed of relaxation corners with an outdoor fireplace, closed zen space, a gourmet space complete with barbecue, table and dining counter and sun loungers for sunbathing. The Zen space has a plaster ceiling with a starry effect, as well as a lighted circle where the shower that pours water is located in the center of the SPA. As this residence is in the middle of a forest and the temperatures are mild, this environment was designed in an enclosed space, so that it can be used in the winter, at night, on cold and rainy days. In order not to lose the integration with nature, with the swimming pool and relaxation area, we opted for closing with beautiful curved glass walls that maintain the lightness and spaciousness.
