Emperor House
Residential Projects
City violence has forced many families to move out of their homes and move into apartments. In the search for security, they left space, privacy and gardens behind. The explosion of horizontal condominiums allowed a return to the origins and brought together in one place the delights of a large and well-designed house, with the comfort and security of a closed condominium. This was the reasoning of a couple of businessmen from the interior of São Paulo. Worried about protecting their children, they moved into an apartment. The first opportunity they had, they bought a 777 square meter plot of land in a condominium and invested in the construction of the dream property. To fulfill this wish, they decided to deliver the family's dream into the hands of the architect Aquiles Nícolas Kílaris. The contemporary style house is 550 square meters and was built to meet all the needs of the couple and their two children. The project has a practical and functional internal division, with all spaces integrated by balconies and balconies aimed at leisure. During the elaboration of the project, clients got to know the work of interior designer Iara Kílaris. They liked the work so much that she started to sign the decoration and finishing projects, leaving Kílaris's office the full architecture of the property. The result of this union of forces was largely responsible for the excellent final result of the work.
