Casa Cor 2012
Decoration Shows
A large floating and illuminated tray, where glasses rest waiting for drinks and snacks was the highlight of the Home Bar environment, designed by architect Aquiles Nícolas Kílaris for Casa Cor 2012. The proposal was to create an adult space, unusual, creative and full of " bossa ", thus following the theme of the show that was Fashion, Style and Technology. The design of the tray took its signature and the piece was designed especially for the event. People often imagine that exclusive and differentiated design is the work of foreign professionals for international exhibitions. In fact, my projects are full of examples like this, where a particular object is designed for a specific client. Produced in stainless steel and suspended by a rod, the piece accommodated cocktail glasses, flutes, tulips and chalices, in the center of four armchairs. Below it, a small round table was placed to support those who were sitting at the Home Bar. The project also provided for a large wooden panel and mirrors on the front wall of the space. This piece of furniture was designed with two built-in side vases to receive landscaping, a bench and drawers for storing drinks, utensils and equipment used in a bar. In the center of the panel a hollow design was created that refers to the splash, that is, the splash of a liquid on a surface, working with the playful. On this wall, shelves were designed with several drink bottles arranged in a decorative way. Interior designer Iara Kílaris signed the setting for the Home Bar and worked with a palette of strong colors, giving personality to the space.
