Campinas Decor 2008
Decoration Shows
In the 13th edition of Campinas Decor, the architect Aquiles Nícolas Kílaris signed the architectural project for Galeria do Restaurante. The contemporary space sought a counterpoint to the century-old architecture of the Guanabara Station, restored during the exhibition. The architect's objective in this project was to present the architectural evolution. The 337 m² environment housed the exhibitions "Curvas na Arquitetura Brasileira ", by Kílaris and" Interiores Contemporâneo ", by interior designer Iara Kílaris. The professional joined the beautiful to the functional, reproducing in the work the forms of nature, represented by rose petals that formed the walls of the Gallery. To achieve this effect, an innovative construction system was used that features the possibility of an instant architecture. The drywall resistant to the weather, were erected quickly, and can be used in various shapes and designs. The system also had a metallic structure and tensioned canvas on the ceiling.
