Mic's, a project for women of good

Commercial projects are an inexhaustible source for creation and interior decoration work. A good example of this is the Mic's women's clothing and accessories store, located at Shopping D. Pedro, in Campinas, designed by the firm of Architect Aquiles Nícolas Kílaris. The interior designer Iara Kílaris, I was in charge of this work, used for this project all the references that populate and enchant the feminine universe, such as crystals, mother-of-pearls and mirrors. Everything was designed to enhance the curved lines and the integration with nature. The colors used in the decoration are light. To warm the atmosphere, red was used on the door of the changing rooms. The handles for these doors and also the one for the store entrance were developed by the office and were inspired by the letter M of the store. A TV was installed in the center of a wooden panel with the purpose of presenting parades of the commercialized brands and launching products. In this panel I applied a sticker with a 3D image of foliage in a dark green tone. Crystals are splashed throughout the store. On the ceiling, they appear in delicate chandeliers that make up the luminotechnical project. On the floor, they were applied to the marmoglass floor. The mother-of-pearl counter - a material widely used in making jewelry - gave the space a very special sophistication. As it is a compact project, the clothes racks were designed and arranged in a curved shape, to increase the internal space and the feeling of spaciousness of the environment. The use of mirrors on several walls helps to make the space wider. Several niches were also created with rounded corners and mirrors in the background, where feminine accessories are arranged.
